The Municipality of Fundão is one of the 308 municipalities in Portugal. They act as a dynamic local authority actively involved in youth engagement, sustainable development, sports, digital innovation, and rural development. As the coordinator of the Olympics of Sustainability, Fundão will leverage its broad network of national and international partners to ensure the project’s successful implementation, impact maximization, and long-term sustainability.
Portugal Sports Hub (PJA) is a sports consultancy SME operating a national sports network that connects federations, clubs, and training institutions across Portugal. Despite being a newly established organization, PJA’s team brings extensive experience in managing Erasmus+ Sport Projects, UEFA Foundation initiatives, and other EU-funded programs. Their specialized expertise in project development, management, and implementation enables them to offer comprehensive support to national and international partners. While PJA may be a newcomer organization in EU projects, its staff’s deep experience in European project management, sports governance, and sustainability positions them as a key player in the Olympics of Sustainability consortium.
Finlands Svenska Idrott (FSI) is the umbrella sports organization for Swedish-speaking communities in Finland, representing nearly 100,000 athletes, clubs, and associations. FSI plays a critical role in promoting physical activity, sustainability, and inclusion in sports, collaborating with the Finnish Olympic Committee, para sports organizations, and youth development initiatives. With strong expertise in sports governance, sustainability strategies, and inclusion policies, FSI is an essential partner in embedding sustainability and social responsibility principles into sports education and grassroots initiatives across Europe.
Športno društvo Endorfin (SDE) is a grassroots sports organization dedicated to promoting sports for all, active lifestyles, and community-based sustainability initiatives. With extensive experience in implementing Slovenia’s national sports programs at the local and regional levels, SDE plays a key role in mobilizing young people, municipalities, and sports clubs to engage in inclusive and sustainability-driven sports activities. SDE’s expertise in youth engagement, social entrepreneurship, and sports-based education makes it a key partner in implementing and scaling the National Olympics of Sustainability (NOofS) across Slovenia.
The Municipality of Pedreguer (MoP) is a local public authority with extensive experience in community development, sports governance, and sustainability initiatives. With a strong focus on rural development, active citizenship, and environmental policies, MoP plays a key role in leveraging sports for social change and sustainable urban planning. Through its institutional capacity, international partnerships, and expertise in organizing large-scale public initiatives, MoP is well-positioned to lead WP4 and coordinate the European-level implementation of the Olympics of Sustainability.
