The Green Playbook is the practical heart of the project. It takes everything we learned from the research and the pilots and turns it into clear, ready-to-use guidance. If the e-Paper explains the why, the Green Playbook explains the how.
There is no complicated formula. Each station is scored out of 100, and you add up the points. Because an event has more sustainability stations than sport stations, sustainability naturally carries most of the weight, around two thirds of the total. A volunteer can run the scoring with a pen and a sheet of paper.
On top of the final ranking, teams can earn a Green Badge. It is awarded when a team reaches 70% of the available sustainability points, so it rewards genuine green effort rather than only athletic skill. The threshold is a percentage, which means it works for any mix of activities. Serious unfair or harmful conduct means a team cannot earn the badge.
